Job role

 

Are you an experienced DevOps professional with a passion for automation and a drive to deliver seamless workplace services? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Workplace Services (WPS) department at Allianz Group as a Fileservice DevOps Expert.

 

As part of our Workplace DevOps Team, your main responsibility will be to drive the automation of service delivery and migration processes. Working closely with our WPS product teams, you will collaborate to successfully meet their automation goals. This role also involves supporting the agile transformation of the department and maintaining a mindset that keeps automation at the forefront of your daily activities.

 

What you will do

 

• Plan, develop, test, and deploy our automation platform, primarily written in Python, to provide our services to Allianz employees worldwide.

• Maintain an application built by an external company on Kubernetes, including deployment, automating updates and bug fixes, and configuration of the application itself.

• Discuss new requirements with experts on the customer side and drive their implementation.

• Support the design and implementation of Fileservice components according to the architecture roadmap.

• Collaborate with expert teams in Workplace Services for the exchange of best practices and process management training.

 

What you bring

 

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification

• Expert knowledge in Python Coding

• Expert knowledge in working with Kubernetes.

• Advanced knowledge in working with Microsoft Azure

• Advanced knowledge in automated testing.

• Advanced knowledge in working with CI/CD pipelines

• Basic knowledge in working with SQL

• Basic knowledge in technologies like Windows Server, Filesystems (DFS-R, DFS-N)

• Experience in Agile Work environments and corresponding tools and methods (preferably SCRUM)

 

You have

 

• Curiosity about modern technologies and interest in intercultural cooperation.

• Good spoken and written English skills.

• Professional experience for several years.

• Self-oriented working, prioritization capabilities and the ability to cope under stress.
