IT Engineer - Robotics (UiPath)

About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer with a focus on Robotics Process Automation (RPA) platform using UiPath to join our team at Allianz. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery, management, and optimization of our RPA initiatives, aligning with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and improve our automation platform infrastructure/services, to enable our customers to develop robust RPA solutions. The platform should ensure high levels of performance, availability, compliance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive experience working within large enterprises, understanding their complexities and requirements. The ideal candidate will be an IT generalist with knowledge spanning the entire technology stack, from network infrastructure to application layers, and will be adept at steering topics end-to-end to ensure cost efficiency and operational reliability. This job is infrastructure and platform focused and not related to developing robots or automation using UiPath.

You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable RPA platforms using UiPath to meet business needs, regulatory requirements and performance standards.
• Optimize RPA infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment and integration of RPA platform infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of RPA platform with other platforms and services in Allianz.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, security concepts, and operational requirements.
• Engage with enterprise architecture teams to align RPA strategies with broader organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
• Act as an IT generalist with knowledge across the entire technology stack, from network infrastructure to application layers.
• Steer topics end-to-end, ensuring the most cost-efficient and operationally reliable solutions are in place.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency without compromising on quality or performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance RPA capabilities and drive innovation.

Your Skills

• Proven, hands-on experience in developing and operating RPA platforms, with a focus on UiPath.
• Expertise in RPA platform best practices and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and an ability to independently troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the IT industry.
• Extensive experience working within large enterprises, understanding their scale, complexities, governance, and compliance requirements in terms of IT.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and the ability to align RPA strategies with organizational goals.
• Broad knowledge across the entire technology stack, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, databases, middleware, and applications.
• Proven ability to steer topics end-to-end, ensuring cost-efficient and operationally reliable solutions.
• Strong focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
