The Global Centre for Behavioral Economics is a consulting boutique within Allianz. We believe that organizations thrive when they deeply understand human behavior and decision-making. We solve complex, real-world business challenges for Allianz and external clients by blending psychology, economics, strategy, and consulting expertise. Based in Switzerland, we are a small but growing, English-speaking startup with ambitious goals. We are looking for individuals passionate about behavioral science who want to make a tangible difference.
What you will do
- You coordinate: Align schedules with clients and prospects to ensure seamless collaboration. Track pending tasks and deadlines, keeping everyone on the same page.
- You optimize: Identify inefficiencies and implement measures to streamline processes, helping the team work smarter, not harder.
- You oversee budgets: Track budgets meticulously, handle invoice processing and generation, and ensure financial accuracy.
- You grow with us: You play an active role in shaping our startup by tackling the things that have to get done.
- You support BE Projects: If interested, contribute to exciting Behavioral Economics projects and workshops, supporting innovative ideas that drive measurable change.
What you bring with you
- Behavioral Economics Expertise: You have a strong grasp of key concepts and can independently apply them to generate / validate insights, design or test solutions using tools like field experiments. A related degree (Master’s preferred) and hands-on experience demonstrate your skills.
- Consulting Savvy: You’re skilled at organizing projects, breaking down problems, structuring solutions, and delivering results. Building strong client relationships is easy for you. Typically, you bring 2+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
- Drive and Resilience: You overcome adversity and are proactive, solution-oriented, and hungry to make a difference.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential. German, French, or other European languages are a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in applying machine learning (e.g., Random Forests, K-Means), AI, or behavioral data science.
Why you should work with us
- Professional Qualifications: You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (KV) or have equivalent professional experience. Alternatively, you are pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field, ideally at a university of applied sciences (FH).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a knack for quickly learning new digital tools. Experience with project management and associated software (e.g. Jira, Trello) is a plus.
- Organizational Strengths: You are structured, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritizing tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Proactive Mindset: You independently seek out tasks, anticipate team needs, and follow through to achieve results with persistence and reliability.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential. German proficiency is highly advantageous for local context.
