About the Job 

The Global Head of Workforce Planning needs to build and run a newly formed department which will be composed of 4/5 FTE. The position holder is responsible for the financial management and analysis of workforce-related costs and investments across the organization, ensuring that workforce planning aligns with financial objectives and support business goals. The profile looked for has a proactive mindset, is detail-oriented and has a strong background in finance and workforce analytics. The primary goal is to align workforce planning and expenditures with the company's strategic and financial objectives, optimizing costs, and providing insights to support informed decision-making.

 

What you do

  • Define and standardize KPI set needed for a global workforce steering, e.g. internal workforce (IWF), total workforce costs (internal and external), shoring quota (near-/offshore), forced/unforced attrition, redeployments, hirings, restructuring booked/cash.
  • Derive total cost allowance for (local) business units e.g. based on total workforce quota and OP expectations.
  • Define and align workforce targets with (local) business units .
  • Plan, build and run of global workforce reporting, planning and workforce management and monitoring processes.
  • Develop and rollout central toolset for planning and reporting (e.g. PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Act as linking pin between HR, FC and Global Business Operation departments.
  • Align and act as the interface for all workforce related topics within Allianz Technology and toward central planning units in Allianz Group.
  • Support business case calculation, implementation of transformation plans (shoring, automation and others).
  • Assist in negotiations and regular alignments with social partner e.g. concerning salary/tariff increases.
  • Setup and run workforce controlling community.
  • Setup approval boards for restructuring including ground rules (minimum payback period, backfilling only in near-/offshore locations etc.).

 

What you bring

  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling, workforce analytics, or a related field in Tech industry.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial goals into actionable workforce controlling plans.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial controlling tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of global financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization including C-suits presentations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
