The primary purpose of this role is to design and sequence the Transformation to be-state which leverages the new strategic technology and Australian OE (AAL) business strategies to achieve the company's Transformation objectives, and then mobilise delivery functions.
You'll be responsible for:
  • Establishing all Transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organisation's overarching strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensuring relevant business and IT stakeholders are engaged in design and sequencing activities.
  • Shaping of “Release packages” for each release that are transitioned to delivery teams through the Sprint 0 activities.
  • Providing strategic and analytical insight to relevant stakeholders on all aspects of the Transformation roadmap.
  • Building strong relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners, to garner support and collaboration, in enabling the transformation pipeline.
  • Creating the scope baseline of each release, ensuring alignment back to benefits and cost.
  • Developing comprehensive E2E release plans, setting milestones and dependencies, ready for delivery.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles that may impact the progress of the Transformation initiatives.
  • Ensuring approval of strategic transformational initiatives at all required levels
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Transformation initiatives to  ensure they meet predefined objectives and make necessary adjustments when required.
About you
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level in large transformation projects with a focus on strategy within general insurance is highly essential.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with expertise in creating pathways forward for transformations.
  • Certification or demonstrated competency in application of at least one formal change methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision-making.
  • Strong personal integrity and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to transition seamlessly between strategy and execution as required.
