As part of the Global Planning & Performance Management (P&PM) team, Allianz Trade is looking for a Strategic P&PM Controller to strengthen its role as a strategic and financial advisor to the company’s leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
Monthly/Quarterly Closings and Reporting
- Oversee monthly closings for the assigned region in collaboration with the Consolidation team.
- Analyze financial results and prepare syntheses for leadership meetings and board committees.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of financial data used by internal stakeholders.
Follow-up on a Dedicated Region
- Manage the financial and operational follow-up for a specific region or business area.
- Compare performance against budgets, forecasts, and previous years.
Other Responsibilities
- Handle critical processes such as reinsurance analysis or budget preparation.
- Act as a reference point for one or more group departments (e.g., actuarial, treasury).
- Contribute to the implementation of next-generation reporting (e.g., PowerBI).
Profile Requirements:
- Knowledge of insurance accounting and consolidation.
- Good understanding of reinsurance mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (VBA knowledge is a plus).
- Fluent English, French is a plus.
- Experience in a regional or group finance team at Allianz Trade is a strong asset.
