Our Opportunity:

 

As the Business Development Support Intern, you will be part of the Broker Channel Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager in various aspects of the broker channel’s growth and development.

 

 

Key Responsibility Areas:

 

  • Support the business development managers in terms of:
    • Generating Motor Quotations with guided checklist and rater
    • Facilitating new business, endorsements and renewal procurement process with internal stakeholders ie policy management team
    • Update sales report and pipeline reporting
    • Coordinate with Brokers on Motor Fleet business on new vehicle updates
    • Cover Note issuances for all lines of business.
    • Generate Non-Motor quotation using internal Pricer guide.
    • Extract claims data for BDM to facilitate renewal discussion.
  • Any other duties as and when deemed necessary to facilitate and improve in the business development process.

 

Qualifications & Capabilities:

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word (including mail merge), Excel (including pivot tables), and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, dependability, and conscientiousness.
