Business Development Support Intern (Oct 2024 to Jan 2025)

As the Business Development Support Intern, you will be part of the Broker Channel Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager in various aspects of the broker channel’s growth and development. 

Responsibilities

• Support the business development managers in terms of:
  • Generating Motor Quotations with guided checklist and rater
  • Facilitating new business, endorsements and renewal procurement process with internal stakeholders ie policy management team
  • Update sales report and pipeline reporting
  • Coordinate with Brokers on Motor Fleet business on new vehicle updates
  • Cover Note issuances for all lines of business.
  • Generate Non-Motor quotation using internal Pricer guide.
  • Extract claims data for BDM to facilitate renewal discussion.
• Any other duties as and when deemed necessary to facilitate and improve in the business development process.

Requirements

• Possess good interpersonal & communication skill, both written and spoken.
• Possess computer competency such as MS office software applications, especially in Words (mail merge), Excel (Pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player
• Candidates who can commit for 4 months or more on a full-time or part-time basis will be preferred
