Job Purpose 

 

Manage Procurement and Outsourcing activities of AZAP Singapore office to ensure external spend on goods and services as well as the respective suppliers are managed in a professional manner in compliance to standards and guideline, and with cost-efficiency and achieving the right quality level on time and in function. Assist Regional head of procurement in supporting OEs on procurement and outsourcing topics in order to reach target maturity level.

Future challenges include: The evolving ESG, regulatory landscape that impact procurement, outsourcing and third party risk management processes

 

What you do 

 

  • Manage all procurement and outsourcing activities in AZAP SIngapore office.
  • Support business functions to determine and support their procurement and outsourcing requirements.
  • Research, source and evaluate prospective suppliers for onboarding and qualifications.
  • Perform due diligence and vendor screening to ensure compliance and enforcement of procurement/outsourcing policies and procedures.
  • Assess and ensure compliance of Outsourcing regulatory reporting.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations, review and monitor supplier's performance and service level
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
  • Participate in Global and strategic initiatives and manage regional compliance and implementation
  • Assist OEs in identifying gaps and support them to achieve maturity target

  • Experience in dealing with vendors with negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Proficient with MS 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoints etc)

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management or a related field
  • 4-5 years of work experience in procurement, outsourcing, third party management or similar role
