Property Risk Engineer - Call for Interest

We are reaching out to professionals with a keen interest in joining our team as a Property Risk Engineer. This is a CALL FOR INTEREST for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake desktop risk assessment on loss control topics as part of risk management programme in-line with global guidelines
• Delivering concise, high quality, objective views of risk in a timely manner. This includes accurate loss expectancies, assessments of account exposures, control adequacy, risk grading, and appropriate recommendations and/or service plans
• Developing technically based risk management recommendations, providing insights, analysis, and best engineering judgement to determine likelihood of impact to loss mitigation and working with concerned stakeholders to improve overall account risk quality
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities relating to department’s function and objectives as may be directed by the superior from time to time
• Contribute to thought leadership and technical insight delivered to customers, business partners and colleagues through events, communications, and other publications

Key Requirements: 

• 3 years to 8 years of Experience in loss prevention consulting or working with fire protection systems (in designing or design review or commissioning or with Inspection, testing & maintenance of fire protection systems water based & or Gas based systems).
• Experience in manufacturing or process industries in fire & Safety will be a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus – being able to talk the language of property insurance as well as loss prevention/fire protection is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with Fire Protection guidelines, such as NFPA or FM Global or APSAD, is a plus.
• Certifications – CFPS, CSP, APSAD R1 or the likes is a plus.
