The portfolio manager will be a key member of APAC fixed income team and will work with the broader global fixed income team. APAC fixed income team is an active fixed income portfolio management team from diverse backgrounds with expertise managing different types of strategies focusing on fixed income securities issued in APAC region. This position is based in Hong Kong.

What you will do

• Study the factorial characteristics of the AP fixed-income market and identify factors of mathematical significance that drive returns
• Design, research, and manage fixed-income portfolios by creating and engineering advanced quantitative modelling systems to aid in analysis and research
• Implement quantitative-driven investment process in portfolios, utilizing advanced models and algorithms
• Monitor market conditions and adjust quantitative process accordingly to maximize alpha generation
• Conduct in-depth analysis of market data and performance metrics to optimize risk sizing in strategies
• Incorporate quantitative-driven investment process in broader AP fixed-income strategies.

What you bring

• Master’s degree or above in math, computer science, physics, or other science fields
• 3 years or more of investment track record in managing quantitative fixed-income portfolios
• 5 years or more of experience in quantitative analysis specific to fixed income asset class
• Hands on experience with all aspects of the research process, including methodology section, data collection and analysis, testing, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
• Programming skills and proficiency in at least one programming languages such as Python, R, Golang, C++
• Deep understanding of quantitative finance and statistical analysis
• Team awareness and a team player
• Innovative, intellectually driven with curiosity on financial markets and human behaviour
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
