What you do:

You will lead the design, development, implementation and administration of our compensation programs. In collaboration with People & Culture Business Partners, you will apply compensation best practices and subject matter expertise to ensure that compensation programs support our goals, are competitive with market practices and are applied consistently and efficiently across the organization.

 

This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Compensation and Benefits based in Minneapolis.

 

·       Administer compensation plans through close partnership with the broader Compensation team, People & Culture Business Partners, and the business

·       Implement and monitor compensation programs to ensure they meet our needs, and maximize people, performance and organizational capability

·       Provide subject matter expertise and handle day-to-day requests regarding internal and external equity, job evaluations, position comparisons and other compensation related inquiries

·       Coordinate and manage the wage and salary survey process to ensure use of survey data across the organization

·       Manage and participate in People & Culture related projects and initiatives, as assigned

 

What you bring:

Work Experience:

·       Minimum of 6 years of compensation experience required demonstrating sound knowledge of rewards and performance related topics

·       Demonstrated experience leading complex projects

·       Experience working with all levels of management

·       Financial services experience preferred

 

Education/Training:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business or other related field (Masters preferred).

·       Completion of or work toward compensation certification (CCP, etc.) strongly preferred.

 

Skills/Abilities:

·       Self-motivated, team player that is able to adapt to changing priorities to deliver results

·       Ability to establish strong relationships with important partners and business partners

·       Demonstrated understanding of compensation theory, techniques, practices and regulation

·       Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·       Accuracy and attention to detail, even under deadline pressure

·       Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels

·       Proven ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential information

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Demonstrated project management
