Compliance Manager Senior
Responsible for running the compliance function for captive shared IT services company serving operating entity company customers of large international insurance and financial services group located in North America. Activities include planning, administering, coordinating and managing the compliance function, and developing compliance programs and strategies. Scope includes internal and external governance. Internal compliance consists of assuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
What you do
- Overall day-to-day responsibility for compliance function and serve as the main point of contact for compliance topics.
- Run and monitor compliance program to ensure established policies and procedures are followed to maintain integrity of overall program and that program objectives are being met. Recommend programs and processes to improve quality and to influence desired outcomes. Stay current on operations initiatives, compliance/regulatory concerns and other changes in the industry.
- Monitors and advises on changes in law or regulation relevant to compliance function and manages implementation of same.
- Manages policies that ensure a reasonable and timely implementation and communication of required compliance controls.
- Leads compliance training and awareness for the company. This includes developing strong stakeholder relationships and increasing awareness of the need for compliance.
- Leads internal investigations to ensure the timely reporting and resolution of potential compliance breaches.
- Leads compliance control monitoring, testing and assurance.
- Actively seeks knowledge in areas not well developed.
- This is a team lead role with a Compliance Specialist functional report.
What you bring
- 5-7 years of experience required managing compliance program or parts of compliance function for large company
- Knowledge of general US compliance laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in IT or in the IT service industry
- Experience working in a large international company
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent certification.

- Hybrid 3 days/week in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL

- The annualized base pay range for this role is $120,000-178,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, and the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the ATA total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, ATA also offers eligibility for an incentive-based annual bonus.
