What you do:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Fund Services team within Allianz Investment Management LLC to support the daily operations of our Mutual Fund and ETF businesses. Fund Services is a growing team that manages daily middle and back-office functions and looks to identify areas for improvement.  You will collaborate with internal (portfolio management, trading, capital markets, product development, legal and compliance) and external (fund administrators, transfer agents, custodians, exchanges, and data providers) business partners.  You will work in a dynamic environment and build efficient operations solutions. You will report to the AIM VP - Fund Management.

·         Implement a comprehensive risk-focused oversight model that encompasses all facets of the Funds’ and ETFs’ operations, including custody, accounting, valuation, and financial reporting.

·         Collaborate in the development, validation, and maintenance of in-house applications designed to enhance operations related to the Mutual Fund/ETF platform. This includes streamlining processes such as NAV/PCF reviews, trade reconciliation, and security valuation.

·         Implementing daily business-as-usual processes, promptly resolving all issues that arise, and escalating errors and breaches.

·         Contribute to important fund-related projects, including new product launches, fund mergers or liquidations, onboarding new third-party partners, and changes to regulatory rules.  Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of these projects to ensure compliant and successful outcomes.

·         Build collaborative partnerships with internal and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

·         Improve operational efficiency by conducting reviews of existing processes and implementing strategic automation projects.

·         Conduct performance attribution and reporting processes, ensuring accurate delivery of performance data and analysis.

What you bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science or other related field.

·         Experience with ’40 Act retail products including Exchange Traded Funds and Mutual Funds.

·         Demonstrated proficiency in information technology systems and processes, particularly VBA, C#, database management (SQL Server), Microsoft Office, and Bloomberg. Strong experience with developing innovative tools and solutions to enhance business.

·         Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the Asset Management industry, with a focus on middle/back-office functions, such as fund operations, fund accounting, or trade support.

·         Experience across diverse asset classes (fixed income, equities, and derivatives).

Range $65,000 - $146,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
