Key responsibilities/What you do


The Quantitative Risk Analyst is in charge and performs on a quarterly basis the evaluation of the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR). The role is an integral part of the Quantitative Risk Management function and is responsible for Solvency II (SII) capital assessment for Allianz Partners’ insurance Legal Entities (LEs) and Allianz Partners as a Subbroup. In addition and according to Az Partners TOM it performs LoB (Travel, Health, Mobility&Assistance) specific quantitative risk assessments, e.g. SII RoE, BCoR. The role contributes to quarterly and annual SII Regulatory Reporting, e.g. Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs), Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCR), Regular Supervisory Reports (RSR) and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).

 

  • Perform and report quarterly SII closings in Allianz Group systems: Minimum Capital Requirement (MCR), SCR for Allianz Partners Sub-Group and its insurance LEs
  • Contribute to Risk related Regulatory Reports: QRT, ORSA, RSR, SFCR
  • Contribute to SII ORSA and Planning Dialogue related projections and stress tests: ROE, SCR, Financial limits, BCoR for Allianz Partners Subgroup and its insurance LEs. Contribute to Strategic Dialogue / Planning Dialogue with specific Risk inputs
  • Contributes and engages in all relevant LoB specific topics (Travel, Health, Mobility&Assistance) and is reliable single point of contact (SPOC) for the LoB Heads of Risk for any Quantitative Risk matters
  • Contribute to apply Allianz Partners’ Risk Strategy and Risk Appetite. Contribute to the monitoring of Investment, Credit and Limits, Risk Dashboard
  • Contribute to M&A, Underwriting and reinsurance projects
  • Contribute to capital steering and capital optimisation process

 

Key requirements/What you bring

 

  • Five or more years experience in the insurance industry, with focus on Solvency II topics
  • Financial skills, including IFRS and SII accountings
  • Profound understanding of regulatory capital and Solvency II Regulation
  • Understanding of KPI´s relevant for risk and return such as OP, NI, ROE, SCR
  • Problem solving, judgment and analytical abilities
  • Client oriented, curious, flexible and decisive
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty
