Who will you be joining? 

 

Global P&C is a Group Center that drives Technical Excellence of Retail/SMC/Fleet businss within the AZ Group.
The Underwriting and Portfolio Management team contributes to Technical Excellence through improved underwriting and portfolio management, by overseeing Performance via Portfolio Days, and implementation of best practices via Certifications and Academy trainings
The position would be ideal for someone who likes working with numbers, has experience creating databases, and knows how to run queries and create reports.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

We are looking for an Intern who will primarily carry out the following tasks:

  • Support to build and maintain datasets and dashboard, and use them to create reports and minutes for Portfolio Days
  • Keep track of data fields and changes to data
  • Undertake ad-hoc data queries and analysis with close attention to accuracy and reconciliation
  • Extract data when needed

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Master or bachelor student in Mathematics with strong academic achievements 
  • Fluency in English is required, additional languages are plus 
  • Be proficient in the use of software, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite tools – specifically Excel (Macro programming experience is a plus), PowerPoint
  • Programming skills, e.g, Python, R, Excel VBA, Power BI are a plus

  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

  • Good communication skills: clearly and effectively express ideas and messages
