 Key Responsibilities/What you do

Reporting to the Global Head of People & Culture, as the Head of HR Business Partners you will be a standing member of the People & Culture (P&C) leadership team and contributing to enhancing the collaborative culture and capability of the function. You will be a trusted advisor to the Head of People & Culture and lead a global team of HR Directors to ensure the support to the functions & line of businesses (LoB’s) with the required talent at the right time, in the right place and at the right cost to accomplish their strategy. As the Head of HR Business Partners collaborates closely with the Head of HR Country Leads to ensure coordinated and harmonized activities across the organization and drives a culture of One Allianz Partners.

 

In the role, you will drive significant impact on the success of the P&C function by driving a performance-based culture, that has the ability to change and adapt as the business environment and competitive landscape evolves, to deliver high quality solutions.

 

 Key responsibilities:

Leadership & collaboration:

  • Guide and lead the team of global HRDs, provide guidance and support, and build a  strong relationship with the Head of HR Country Leads to strengthen the HR function on the ground
  • Lead and coach team members to continuously develop capability, build high performing collaborative and engaged teams by promoting OneTeam
  • Lead by example through seeking out and leveraging diversity in all its forms and creating an inclusive work environment
  • Support HRD's on large scale transformation efforts and organizational effectiveness topics
  • Partner with HRD's and Head of Country Leads on highly complex employee relations issues

 

Governance:

  • Work with the HRDs to ensure consistency with Group minimum standards and customize strategy to function/LoB where required
  • Ensure consistency with functional rules, processes, tools, and content
  • Liaise with HR CoE Heads and Head of Country Leads to identify process efficiencies through automation and talent capabilities while executing deliverables/outputs

 

Business input:

  • Advise Head of People & Culture on HR/ Business related topics though close connection to the Business Leaders and via the HRDs
  • Develop HR plans and People & Culture strategies to support the achievement of the overall business priorities
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to business leaders regarding key organizational topics
  • Partner with business leaders, HRD's, and Talent team to build strong succession pipeline
  • Drive Strategic Workforce Planning process with HRD's and business leaders to ensure organization is talent-ready
  • Support business leaders with large scale change efforts across the business

 

Key Requirements/What you bring

  • Proven experience in a similar a role, managing teams internationally dispersed
  • You will be someone who can consult and partner with senior business leaders with strong market knowledge and business acumen
  • Good understanding of  how business strategy impacts HR and vice versa to ensure programs are practical and can drive real business value
  • Strong Project Management experience and proven track record in managing multiple projects in a global line
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong English proficiency. German or French a plus
  • Ability to drive complex projects, multi-task and prioritize with strong attention to detail
