The opportunity
The PIMCO Prime Tax team is a multidisciplinary team of highly experienced tax professionals specifically dedicated to advising our clients across the real estate sector.
As a (senior) manager (m/f/d) in our tax team, you'll become an integral part of a dynamic company and have the opportunity to work with our clients on some of the largest real estate transactions worldwide, driving the delivery of quality tax planning and compliance services. We're interested in you as an ambitious tax professional with confidence and knowledge to think creatively in a constantly shifting environment and to take ownership of projects and manage client relationships. You’ll be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information within a cross-functional team is an essential part of the role.
As a (senior) tax reporting manager (m/f/d) you will play a critical role in in shaping our global tax reporting strategy, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global tax reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations
- Implement strategies to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data to support accurate and transparent tax reporting, collaborating with finance and accounting teams
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of detailed documentation to support global tax positions and reporting requirements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and external auditors, to provide expertise and ensure alignment between financial reporting and tax obligations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in tax reporting, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Your Skills and attributes
- Experience in tax reporting
- University degree in Business Administration / Finance /Law
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Understanding of IFRS financials and tax reporting in a multinational group
- Strong tax technical skills, including tax research and writing skills, and have an ability to communicate complex issues in a coherent and commercial way to clients and other stakeholders
- Excellent project management with an ability to manage deadlines and client expectations
- Ability to prioritize across projects and make strong decisions in often-uncertain scenarios
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills and confidence to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Very good command of English and German
