We are looking for a Distribution Analyst (m/f/d), based in London to work as part of our Global Distribution Team.

Our team is committed to delivering market leading support, insight and leadership in Broker and Client Management. Working with Allianz Regional teams and our Broker partners to ensure we bring the best of Allianz to market and maximizing our footprint in our chosen markets.  

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Global Head of Distribution, you will play a pivotal role within the Global Distribution Team supporting Global Broker Management, Distribution Governance, Insight and Analysis. The primary focus is supporting the business to continually develop its ability to monitor, analyze and interpret the performance of the company’s distribution teams and their broker partners, an important part in supporting the delivery of the Allianz Commercial strategic objetcives.  

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Delivers distribution insight to the Global Broker Management team. This should focus on broker behaviour and agent performance, delivered using the individual’s knowledge and understanding of the distribution framework along with interpretation of the broad range of data available.  
• Collates & analyses qualitative and quantitative feedback from regions on broker performance, pipeline and market trends  
• Ensures timely production of reports containing insight and analysis for the different executive meetings and QBRs throughout the calendar year.  
• Produces and distributes monthly broker MI to both internal and external customers, including analysis and investigation into anomalies into Allianz Commercial performance. This should also include the constant evolution of broker reporting to provide the highest level of insight and analysis to the business.  
• Maintains the accuracy of all Global Broker arrangements. Once fulfilled, ensures payments are calculated and settled using the correct parameters within the timescales stipulated.    
• Provides critical support for both internal and external project work acting as a lead where required and ensuing project governance at all times  
• Becomes an expert in industry and sector developments, which will impact the UK insurance distribution practices. Uses this knowledge to provide recommendations to improve the Company’s distribution capabilities and their application across the distribution framework.  
• Ensures Global Distribution Governance process, the Company’s Code of Conduct and regulatory compliance guidance are adhered to at all times.  

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Understanding of the global insurance sector and the distribution practices.   
• Experience in interpreting data to deliver meaningful insight and analysis.  
• Experience of managing communication across all stakeholder groups and a wide audience of internal and external audiences.  
• Excellent understanding and use of all Microsoft applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).  
• A good awareness of the Global Commercial insurance market or strong experience in key insurance markets 
• A high awareness of business regulatory requirements.  
• Ability to work in an international environment and outstanding inter-cultural skills
