As a Manager, Business Analyst, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, documenting, and managing application requirements at the project level while addressing day-to-day business needs to deliver effective business solutions. You will lead a team of analysts and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of business analysts to translate business requirements into technical documents and business diagrams in compliance with Allianz prescribed standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of documentation and project deliverables.
- Act as an intermediary between business units, technology teams, and support teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Oversee the testing and documentation of solutions.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and secure signoff from stakeholders.
- Support business units in conducting application training upon system go-live.
- Monitor and manage all change requests from assigned business units.
- Ensure end-to-end involvement from project scoping, system readiness for UAT and production roll-out, to project implementation and post-project stabilization.
- Ensure project outcomes and deliveries align with the digital roadmap.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any discipline, with Computer Science/Information Technology preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Life Insurance products and operations.
- Proficiency in user requirement gathering and requirement document lifecycle management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team.
