We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to support AllianzGI's Investment Services team, with a key focus on Bloomberg Asset & Investment Manager (AIM) and integrated trading platforms. This role is essential in ensuring optimal service quality for AllianzGI's Investment Professionals.

 

This position will be based in Jakarta.

 

What you will do

 

  • Ensure daily business-as-usual (BAU) support as a Bloomberg AIM Administrator
  • Support new business activities such as future onboardings of new clients and investment products, ensuring business requirements are covered front-to-back
  • Understand and capture business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Trading, and Operations, and translate them into technical specifications
  • Drive simplification and optimization of front-office workflows, considering non-functional and regulatory requirements, as well as future technology architecture
  • Oversee and prioritize issue/change lists
  • Ensure proper administration and configuration of company applications, including documentation in our knowledge base
  • Manage vendor relationships by tracking incidents, negotiating change requests, and escalating issues as necessary
  • Lead/manage business analysis, solutioning, and application initiatives for the company
  • Represent Technology in discussions and interactions with other business functions, providing solutions that meet business needs
  • Manage/Support on-site Technology components and related matters
  • Represent IT in interactions with auditors and regulators
  • Handle local IT administrative and logistical tasks
  • Ensure all expenses/invoices related to technology are managed, recorded properly, and settled in a timely manner, coordinating with the Finance Team

 

What you bring

 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven work experience in the financial industry (minimum 5 years) handling IT business solutioning, application development, and/or support
  • Knowledge of the investment process and financial instruments, with prior exposure to portfolio management, trading, or risk analysis
  • Broad understanding of data models and SQL knowledge
  • Affinity for investment data, especially transaction data related to investments
  • A growth mindset, i.e., a quick learner and team player motivated to drive constructive change
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, highly international, and culturally sensitive environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle and the software change management process
  • Fair knowledge of IT infrastructure, including desktop, network, servers, and data center services
  • Good command of incident and problem management methodology and tools
  • Strong multitasking, proactive thinking, and effective communication skills
  • Highly motivated and enjoys teamwork
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Bloomberg AIM
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Investment Management applications
  • Experience in budgeting, scoping, scheduling, and driving projects from end to end is a plus
  • Candidates with an OJK license will be preferred
