Key responsibilities/What you do

The Ops Data Warehouse Manager for Central Reporting is placed within our Operations Reporting division and is reporting to the Head of Central Reporting. The role develops and maintain technical assets to enable the consolidation of reporting data. It covers all Line of Business (LoBs) within the reporting scope. The role requires strong knowledge on data visualization technical skill, as a preference solid PowerBI knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of data analysis, report, and communication skills to convey complex information effectively. It collaborates with cross-functional teams, ensuring that reporting aligns with organizational objectives of Allianz Partners. In addition, this role involves staying updated on reporting technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Ultimately, the role plays a critical role in providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Data warehouse development: Lead the design of a pragmatic data warehouse solution to consolidate and visualize in PowerBI the various Operation Reportings coming from all Allianz Partners countries and all activities.
  • Data warehouse maintenance: Perform the maintenance and continuous improvement of the data warehouse, supporting the function expansion.
  • Data Security: Implement measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in reporting processes.
  • Technology Integration: Stay up to date to the newest reporting tools and technologies and in consequence integrate innovations to improve reporting capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the reported data.
  • Report Development: Lead the design and creation of comprehensive reports to meet the information needs of Allianz Partners.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and align reports with organizational goals of Allianz Partners.
  • Compliance: Ensure reporting practices adhere to industry regulations and organizational standards of Allianz Partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and hence foster efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to the Reporting teams to enhance their reporting skills and capabilities.

 

Key requirements/What you bring

  • 4+ years’ experience in data-driven working environment which includes any of the following activities: reporting, data visualization, creation of dashboards, data collection, data quality, KPI calculations, and data architecture.
  • Technical Knowledge and experience on Power BI and/or other data visualization tools.
  • Understanding on data system integrations and high-level architecture.
  • Strong analytical and synthesizing skills.
  • You feel naturally attracted to numbers and believe that data is a key asset of an organization.
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
