Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement TPRM Senior Officer to join our rapidly evolving Supplier Relationship management (SRM) team within the Central Procurement function working on a hybrid basis from either Bournemouth, Bristol or Guildford
The purpose of this newly created role is to assist in third party identification, risk assessments, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships in line with regulatory, Group and business requirements. The role holder will work closely within the SRM team, Procurement Enablement and Sourcing teams, as well as colleagues across key safeguarding functions and business units to ensure that this vital part of the Procurement risk activity is conducted smoothly, effectively and allows us to demonstrate compliance with Group and regulatory requirements as relating to Outsourcing and TPRM requirements.
Key accountabilities
- Support the designated Business Owner in carrying out the TPRM Lifecycle (e.g. performing risk assessments) and other activities set out
- Support remediation activities to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner by the third party and internal business function alongside related reporting
- Assist in the onboarding process for new third parties, ensuring all necessary risk assessments and due diligence process are completed accurately and efficiently
- Support the definition of BC/DR plans and exit plans together with the relevant functions
- Support the execution of an exit plan and involve relevant functions in case of contract termination
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure that all third-party risk management activities comply with relevant standards and guidelines
- Ensure the information related to third party agreements are in the required tools and inventories and are complete and accurately maintained
- Assist the Strategy & Enablement team in preparing and responding to audits and inquiries related to third-party risk management
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving TPRM policies and procedures based on practical insights and risk assessment findings
Essential Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Procurement and risk management processes, specifically due diligence, risk assessment and remediation activities
- Understanding of supplier assurance and relationship management practises
- Understanding of corporate risk/risk management, preferably through experience working in Banking and or Insurance sectors in Assurance / TPRM roles
- Track record of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strength in organisation and planning to ensure that deadlines and business objectives are met within fast paced environments
- Proactive approach to personal learning and development
- Self-motivated and capable of setting personal goals and achievement targets
Desirable Skills
- Experience of interacting with the PRA and or FCA desirable
