Global Vendor Management is currently looking for a Vendor Manager for our office in Frankfurt/ Munich, who will become a part of the team to support key areas such as Vendor Governance, Outsourcing Oversight and Commercial Management.

The role will empower you to work with our key and strategic vendors and work along experienced and senior Vendor management professionals to take your experitise to the next level.

What you will do 

Vendor and Contract Management:

• Maintain and steer relationships with strategic suppliers
• Assist in managing vendor portfolio
• Support Vendor Manager as central contact
• Monitor supplier deliverables and obligations
• Aid in financial tracking of contracts, projects, and audits

Commercial Management:

• Collaborate on cost improvement strategies
• Verify supplier charges and support reporting
• Participate in RFP/RFQ process
• Assist in vendor negotiation preparations
• Support budgeting and business case creation

What you bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or Information Technology
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Prince2 Foundation, Six Sigma, or IACCM (preferred)
• 3+ years in vendor management or related role
• Familiarity with Vendor & Contract Management practices
• Exposure to international outsourcing partners
• Familiarity with finance/investment industry or IT industry
• Asset Management is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
• Familiarity with Vendor & Contract Management practices
• Comfortable with MS Office suite (O365, Power suite)
• Familiarity with CLM software
• Awareness of intercultural dynamics and adaptability
