Our mission is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of asset valuation, a cornerstone of trust in the financial markets. The Valuation team is responsible for the calculation and verification of prices for several thousand assets across diverse asset classes globally. By joining us, you will be contributing to a process that ensures transparency, reliability, and fairness for stakeholders worldwide.

What you will do

• Support the development of the proprietary in-house valuation framework
• Optimization of the data processes using SQL and Python
• Implementation and extension of the asset price and market data processing
• Implementation and fine-tuning of the machine learning and deep leaning models in the context of the price and market data outlier detection in the Databricks or MLflow environment
• Documentation of implemented processes and results.

What you bring

• Studies in the field of (Financial-) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable, with strong interest in new technologies
• Strong programming experience in Python including TensorFlow and Keras is a must
• Working experience with SQL, Databricks and Docker or Podman
• Knowledge of data science, statistics as well as ability to interpret and analyze data
• Experience of Machine Learning and deep learning models
• Experience with timeseries models will be plus
• Understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based technology as well as experience in Azure Databricks will be plus
• Comfortable with CLI tools and common associated concepts (environment variables, pipes, ...)
• Strong interest in finance, high commitment, motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
• The ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
• Very good team player with high motivation and positive work attitude
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
