In line with the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking to recruit a forward-thinking Information Security Specialist (f/m/d) to support our Information Security capability. The position is based in our office in Frankfurt/München.

As part of our global Information Security team and reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for driving and supporting our initiatives and improvements alongside our maturity journey, ranging from the traditional security architecture assessments to delivering and orchestrating training efforts to internal stakeholder groups.

 
What you will do 

• Support of the continuous development and improvement of our global information security programme (including frameworks, processes, and tool sets) with a focus on security architectures/training
• Identification and management of application and infrastructure security risks as point of contact for security requests, particularly covering infrastructure and new applications
• Identification of security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
• Providing guidance and support to the security teams and other stakeholders on security architecture, standards, and best practices as part of the operational processes as well as in strategic projects and initiatives
• Drive and contribute to the development of security-specific and -related training and awareness measures, while advocating for protective employee behaviour
• Work closely with a distributed team of Information Security, IAM and Cybersecurity professionals in Asia and Europe

 
What you bring 
 

• Deep expertise and proven experience in Information Security Management, including frameworks, operating models and security architecture
• Hands-on experience in developing solutions, such as actionable guidelines and operating procedures on the basis of best-practices, business needs and regulatory requirements 
• Experience in the identification of security risks as well as threat modeling based on internationally recognized frameworks, including the advisory on possible mitigating and controlling measures and architectures
• Hands-on experience orchestrating awareness and training measures
• Proven track record in working with diverse and distributed global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting sophisticated technical concepts to business and risk partners)
• Experience interacting directly with senior partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators)
• Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) 
• 3-7 years of professional experience in information security/cybersecurity is required
• Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities communicating and committing to realistic deadlines, showcasing a structured way of working
• Proficiency in English and German is a must, additional language skills are a plus
