The functional role sits within the Advisory Desk Team in the Fund Administration Germany department. 

 

The Advisory Desk executes subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions for all AllianzGI managed German Spezialfonds. In addition, the Team performs and maintains a Provider Oversight Model for outsourced “trade capture” and “EMIR transaction reporting services” for external managed funds (> 90 external Manager). It also provides trade execution services for external Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and AllianzGI Institutional Distribution team through Bloomberg AIM platform. 

 

The role of the Advisory Desk Specialist focuses on transaction processing and coordination with internal and external stakeholder across Europe as well as drive automation and harmonization of trade related support processes.

 

The role will be based in Frankfurt.

 

What you will do

 

Transaction execution
•    Execute subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions
•    Distributing Status information to stakeholders
•    Actively communicating with internal and external stakeholders and clarifying any related queries or issues (CU, CAM, FA, Tax team)
•    Receive, enter, and place trades in Bloomberg AIM, perform pre- trade compliance check as well as validating 4-eyes principles
•    Perform position and portfolio rebalancing tasks following stakeholder instructions
•    Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal partners and clients
 
Provider Oversight
•    Maintain and enhance Governance and Oversight Framework and policies
•    Coordinate internal and external Provider requests, issues, incidents
•    Actively drive and contribute to process automation and harmonization
•    Support contractual negotiations by coordinating operational topics between functions/locations/external 3rd parties
•    Support SLA creation with Custodians and Fund Accountant by describing and aligning operational processes

 

What you bring

 

•    Good knowledge of the asset management process value chain with focus on middle and back office (especially fund accounting, custodians, institutional investors)
•    Very good knowledge and professional experience in the German Master KVG business
•    Profound knowledge of Bloomberg anywhere/AIM and MS Office
•    Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills
•    Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity
•    Team spirit, proactive and committed working style.
•    Ability to work calmly under pressure and tight deadlines.
•    Ability to independently identify and implement optimization potential in the value chain.
•    Professional experience in project management with the aim of implementing regular adjustments to structures and processes in a structured and independent manner.
•    An enthusiastic and inspiring personality that works well in team.
•    Fluent in German & English
