Job Purpose/Role

Corporate Information Security (CIS) is the core department and central driver for Information Security (IS) Governance at Allianz Technology. In this department the Information Security Governance team oversees and governs all activities related to the Information Security Management System (ISMS), Information Security Risk Management (ISRM), IS Compliance, IS Culture & Awareness as well as the initiation and steering of execution of global IS programs.  

The IS Culture & Awareness Manager is a key role in the IS Governance Security team. Located in Munich he/she will take a leading role in establishing a sound Information Security Culture within Allianz Technology. With a focus on the procedural and organizational aspects he/she will oversee the effective implementation of IS Culture & Awareness activities across Allianz Technology.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the main drivers and promote a sound culture of Information Security at all hierarchical and/or organizational levels to increase end-user adherence to IS-related policies, standards and other guiding documents to strengthen protective and resilient behavior of Allianz Technologies´ workforce.
  • Shape and drive Allianz Technologies´ activities aiming to educate and train Allianz Technology workforce with the regards to the Information Security requirements relevant for their daily business operations.
  • Define, steer and run IS awareness-related communication campaigns and related activities across Allianz Technology.
  • Further develop and coordinate the implementation of Allianz Technologies´ IS training offers for various internal groups.
  • Plan and manage the execution of Security Awareness events.
  • Act as interface to the Allianz Group in order to ensure implementation of overarching group IS culture & awareness activities both in Allianz Technology SE as well as in Allianz Technologies´ subsidiaries.
  • Represent AZ Technology in group-wide working groups related to IS culture & awareness.   

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of internal marketing and/or communications activities. Application of those in an IT or IS environment is a plus.
  • Track record in managing projects and programs in global enterprise environments (preferably in agile teams) with a focus on communication, training and change.
  • Experience in defining holistic strategies and concept development that increase awareness and initiate behavioral change in organizations.
  • Proven experience in managing global communities based on excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and IT Management, IS technologies, processes, management systems and relevant industry standards (in particular ISO270xx, COBIT5/2019).
  • work experience in global / virtual / intercultural teams
  • Ability to cope with high workload, and being able to exercise good levels of independence, judgement, and initiative.
  • Persuasiveness and strong relationship building capabilities across various business areas.
  • Used to prepare and present professional documentation in English to various stakeholder groups.
  • Good (B2 or better) German and English language skills are a must.
  • Agile mindset and experience with agile methodology is a plus.
