What you do

The Allianz Partners IT Project & Portfolio Management function (PPM) within IT Transformation & Steering, supports Allianz Partners in achieving its strategic intent through robust planning and effective project portfolio management of the Allianz Partners IT Change Portfolio. 

 

Reporting directly to the Head of PPM, the PMO Lead will support on PPM functional objectives including annual IT Project Portfolio planning activities and central governance and steering of change and demand processes. 

 

  • You will ensure effective management & support of key activities such as project tracking, reporting, quality assurance/control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking and change control. 
  • Support and focus on PPM competency, knowledge management, Group standards and continuous improvement of the PPM Framework. 
  • Contribute to and support the definition, development and adoption of the Project Portfolio Framework and Operational Manual/Guidance. 
  • Support the PPM Portfolio Manager with the management of a portfolio of cross-functional programmes and projects across Areas to time, cost and quality standards ensuring effective management of risks and issues.
  • Work closely with the PPM Portfolio Manager and PPM Investment Lead, and key company stakeholders to ensure budgetary control and financial management processes are in place for effective management & control of the IT Change Portfolio. 
  • Lead the consolidation and presentation of agreed project portfolio analytics reports and dashboards, providing visibility and transparency across all levels of the artifact chain, for appropriate, informed decision making at all levels.  
  • Continuously improve the project management system and processes.
  • Work to ensure team environment values diversity of thought, honesty and open communication.
  • Promote and embrace a performance-based culture that focusses on continually improving outcomes and supporting others to achieve optimal performance. 


What you bring

 

  • Multi-year experience in collaboration with IT or working within IT department.
  • Proven ability in Business Case Analysis, CBA, Benefit realisation, budget tracking, IT cost management.
  • Proven ability to monitor and manage interactions with all external, both contractual and non-contractual parties.
  • Multi-year experience in IT stakeholder or vendor management role.
  • Proven experience in risk management tools and analysis.
  • Demonstratable experience in people leadership, negotiating and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, demonstrated at Board level.
  • Proven ability to transition, individuals, teams and organisations.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, ability to motivate, delegate, instruct and advise others.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing performance criterias to ensure highest quality of work is achieved.
  • Fluent in English.
