What you do

  • Scanning & Monitoring of Queues
  • Claims Assigning
  • Daily reporting
  • Language requirements
  • It should mention Maritime business medical case management from 1st notification to case closure
  • Ad Hoc projects
  • Gop Fast Track processing
  • Entry of treatment guarantees into the system
  • Checking policies for coverage and completing treatment guarantees up to authorization stage 
  • Following up on outstanding cases by e-mail and telephone
  • Reviewing the work queues and preparing for distribution and system management
  • Other responsibilities as required and directed by the manager
  • Assist in the processing of treatment guarantees
  • Assist Manager in creation of policies for the department
  • Record minutes of team meetings
  • Responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare within team (please refer to the Company’s Safety Statement for full list of responsibilities).

 

What you bring

 

  • Experience in the health insurance industry
  • Willingness to develop Medical knowledge
  • Previous experience in a customer focused role , in a an administrative capacity 
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Completion or progression towards the Diploma in Private Medical Insurance.
  • Customer focused
  • Strong communication (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment 
  • Honesty and Integrity 
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
