The Resilience Officer coordinates the implementation and maintenance of the operational resilience domains (Business Continuity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Protective Security Management, Global Incident Management and Crisis Management).


Area of Responsibility:

 

The Resilience Officer will be accountable for ensuring that their designated business pillar or local entity fully complies with the Protection & Resilience Policy and its associated documentation. Key responsibilities will include the implementation and coordination of process requirements, fostering awareness of Protection & Resilience practices within the business pillar or local entity, and reporting the outcomes of self-assessments to the Protection & Resilience Office. Additionally, the Resilience Officer will oversee the review and effective implementation of action plans to guarantee the adequate execution of resilience initiatives within their designated area.

 

Reporting :

 

A Resilience Officer reports into executive management meetings or committees of the business pillar or local entity. Functional reporting is directed to the AZ Services Head of Protection & Resilience.
Furthermore, the Officer monitors and reports incidents with crisis potential as well as status updates to the relevant department/country lead and AZ Services Safeguarding Functions.

 

What You Bring : 

 

•    Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or related field
•    Multi-year professional experience in different Protection & Resilience domains
•    Solid knowledge of relevant services and supplier relationships or central function processes
•    Basic knowledge of relevant regulatory environment and standards like: BSI (GER), ISO-Standards ITIL, COBIT, etc.
•    Strong communication and conflict management skills
•    Experience with crisis / emergency situations.

 

Recommended Certifications:

 

  • BCCP, BCCS, BCCE, BCCA, BCCLA
  • CMCE, CCCP, CCCS, CCCE
  • DRCP, DRCS, DRCE
  • ISO 22301, ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor or equivalent Certifications.

 

What You Do : 

 

The function involves various tasks on a local level which can be deducted from the Allianz Group Policies & Directives, Allianz Technology Protection & Resilience Policy as well as specifically the Allianz Technology Standard for Protective Security and Allianz Technology Standard for Operational Resilience. An alignment on specific tasks shall be reached via:

 - Regular participation in reviews being undertaken by Protection & Resilience Office

 - Compliance with applicable law and regulations

 - Ensure entity ratifies Policy

 - Primary contact with the local regulators
