About the Job 

As a Junior PL1 Developer you will get the necessary knowledge to be able to develop, test and deploy batch programs in different development and runtime environments.

What you do

• Learn PL1 and JCL languages
• Learn/Improve SQL knowledge
• Get to know the IBM mainframe environment: z/OS, TSO, ISPF and MVS
• Get to know the Linux MFES runtime environment: Spool and Catalog
• Learn the basic objects and processes of the ABS application suite
• Learn the basics of Agile methodology, tools and processes

• Fluent in written and spoken English & German (working language)
• Basic understanding of software development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and use the learning quickly and effectively, willingness to improve in new fields
