About the Job
The Software Developer plans, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions. You will manage the technical design and the application development, including testing the developed software. This also includes support and consultation activities in the concept phase of the planned application.
What you do
- Check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design.
- Design, test, debug, document and implement software or application components of third-party software and of operating system-related software.
- Fulfill non-functional requirements of the solution, such as performance, data protection, IT security and ergonomics/usability.
- Ensure the future maintainability of the systems and consideration of the technical and functional environment in the context of the development of software.
- Develop software in agile teams and implement software engineering techniques and methods.

- Holds a completed degree in business informatics, mathematics, or possesses equivalent knowledge.
- Other expectations:
- Advanced German language skills (B2) are required to enable an efficient collaboration with team members and to ensure the correct understanding of insurance terminology used in all exchanges.
