About the Job
You will be working in an international agile squad responsible for LAN & Wi-Fi operations for Allianz globally.
What you do
- Hands-on implementation and management of Cisco SDA-based LAN infrastructure.
- Support with daily SDA operational tasks.
- Perform release and security vulnerability management for network devices.
- Implementation of enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks using Cisco wireless solutions.
- Configuration, and optimization of LAN and WAN networks, including VLANs, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, LISP, VXLAN.
- Use automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for network automation and provisioning tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, including SDA fabric connectivity problems, Wi-Fi interference, and routing/switching issues.
- Support the backlog definition and prioritization (e.g., Sprint planning)
- Be available/willing to coach junior colleagues and collaborate with/support Squad members.
- Be available for a few business trips per year, which could be required to meet the other team members.
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years experience with Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access)
- Strong knowledge of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- Proficient with Cisco Wireless LAN technologies (9800)
- Routing and Switching
- Network Automation and Scripting
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Be familiar with Git development practices and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban approaches). Documentation preparation experience
- Network domains knowledge as Firewall, LAN, WAN, Load Balancers, Proxy etc.
- Be familiar with monitoring topics (alerting, telemetry)
- Experienced with REST and/or RESTFul API architecture and integration design
