Data Platforms, Products & Analytics (DPPA) department is responsible within Allianz Technology SE to drive the implementation of the Data Strategy and to deliver modular and reusable Data Solutions to Allianz entities (OE) worldwide, leveraging synergies of skills, scope, and resources. As the DPPA unit is currently expanding globally, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly dynamic, international and rapidly

growing team of DPPA project/service managers, engineers, developers, and architects. If you are an agile, open minded and proactive person with interest in IT and international business background, you are the one we are searching for!

 

You will work with

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform (Golang) and Ansible (Python) to automate cloud resource management, ensuring consistent environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and other tools to automate the build, test, and deployment of Golang and Python applications. Use these languages for deployment tasks such as code pushing and Docker image building.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Dockerize Golang and Python applications and manage containers with Kubernetes, leveraging Golang's efficiency for microservices.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Use Prometheus, Grafana, and Python's ecosystem for monitoring applications, data analysis, and visualization, leveraging Golang's performance. Infrastructure Monitoring: Employ Golang for building monitoring agents and Python for creating dashboards and analysis tools.
  • Configuration Management and Serverless Functions: Use Ansible for server configuration consistency and develop serverless functions with Golang or Python, breaking applications into microservices.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Manage Golang and Python code with Git repositories, ensuring code quality and adherence to DevOps principles through code review practices.
  • Security and Automation: Utilize Golang for security-related tasks and tools due to its efficiency. Create Python automation scripts for tasks such as log analysis and disaster recovery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Encourage collaboration between DevOps engineers, developers, and operations teams for seamless integration of Golang and Python applications. Assume technical leadership for concurrent projects, understanding implementation requirements and how pieces fit together. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in Golang and Python ecosystems to enhance DevOps processes.

 

You need

  • You need to have a University degree in Computer Science or a related field, and experience in geospatial solutions would be beneficial.
  •  You should be proficient in Golang , Python, and scripting languages. You should have over 5 years of experience in various technologies and a keen interest in exploring new ones.
  • You need to focus on Infrastructure as Code, automation, containers, and container orchestration/kubernetes. A solid background in security, operating on-prem/cloud and hybrid environments, and familiarity with Unix OS is necessary.
  • You should be skilled in DevOps/DevSecOps, Systems Architecture, and networking. Familiarity with automation tools like terraform, ansible, and container orchestration tools is expected.
  • You need to understand cloud technologies, architectures, serverless, micro-functionality, and cloud platforms. Being knowledgeable in SQL and NoSQL databases and monitoring technologies is important.
  • Lastly, you should have excellent English language skills, both written and oral, and an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
