Job role

The Finance Project Manager is responsible for project planning and initiation, stakeholder communication, risk and issue management, identification of project dependencies and also quality assurance. He/She assesses strategic business alignment, manages the project budget and ensures that expenditures are in line with the approved budget. He/She makes sure that the documentation of project management deliverables is in line with the general rules and guidelines of Allianz SE and IDS.

What you will do

• Definition or project scope, objectives and success criteria. Document and define requirements and constraints in close cooperation with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project schedule that outline tasks, timelines, and resource needs.
• Responsible for maintaining open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including sponsors, steering committee, and other relevant parties. Provisioning of regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
• Active management of project risks and issues
• Identification of project dependencies (e.g. to other IDS projects), alignment of project schedule, milestones and tasks with other IDS projects. Coordination of test plans and test activities with all relevant stakeholders including dependent projects.
• Management and controlling of the project budget and resources, ensuring that expenditures are in line with the approved budget and that resources are allocated effectively.
• Ensuring the quality of project deliverables; according to Allianz information security and governance rules. Documentation of project management deliverables according to IDS and Allianz SE project management rules and guidelines.

What you bring

• Very good communication, coordination, and planning skills
• Understanding of risk management, quality management and delivery management
• Strategic, analytical and sustainable thinking and problem solving capabilities
• Experience working in the area of risk management, quality management and delivery management
• Experience in organizational transformation and change management

You have

• Higher degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
• 7+ years proven experience in Project Management, in a Project Manager role (mandatory)
• Certification in Project Management
• Experience in Agile Project Management
• Strong communications and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented work approach
• Very good level knowledge of enterprise management systems, JIRA/JMP, Java, Confluence, Kanban system etc.
