Job role

 

We are seeking a leader to drive our Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) Centers of Excellence in  Finance  test domains. This pivotal role will be responsible for establishing world-class testing practices, enhancing value delivery, driving innovation, optimizing resources, and elevating the strategic importance of BAT within Allianz.

 

What you will do

 

1.           Strategy and Leadership:

•            Develop and implement standardized BAT methodologies specifically for finance systems and processes

•            Lead the establishment and growth of the Finance BAT Center of Excellence

•            Drive continuous improvement and innovation in finance testing practices

•            Collaborate with finance executives to align BAT strategies with financial objectives and regulatory requirements

 

2.           Operational Excellence:

•            Enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness across all finance-related systems

•            Implement and oversee automation initiatives to increase test coverage in finance applications

•            Reduce testing cycle times while maintaining or improving quality metrics for finance systems

•            Optimize resource allocation and utilization within the Finance BAT CoE

 

3.           Stakeholder Management:

•            Improve stakeholder satisfaction among finance teams and elevate the perceived value of Finance BAT services

•            Integrate Finance BAT representatives into major finance transformation project steering committees

•            Conduct regular strategy sessions with senior finance leadership

•            Develop and present case studies demonstrating Finance BAT's impact on financial operations and reporting

 

4.           Innovation and Best Practices:

•            Establish a Finance BAT innovation lab to explore and implement cutting-edge testing technologies for financial systems

•            Develop and publish finance-specific testing best practice guides

•            Drive the adoption of new testing methodologies such as AI-driven testing for financial data integrity and regulatory compliance

 

5.           Team Development:

•            Create and implement comprehensive upskilling programs for team members in finance systems and processes

•            Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration with other financial teams

•            Implement skills-based routing systems to optimize resource allocation for finance testing projects

 

6.           Performance Management:

•            Set and achieve ambitious KPIs for testing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in finance systems testing

•            Implement robust feedback loops and action improvement suggestions from finance stakeholders

•            Regularly report on Finance CoE performance and strategic value to senior finance leadership

 

What you bring

 

•            Bachelor's degree

•            10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields, with a strong focus on finance systems

•            5+ years of operational leadership experience in a global, enterprise-level IT environment, preferably in the finance sector

•            Deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices specific to SAP FICO testing

•            Strong knowledge of financial industry processes, regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and technologies

•            Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing large-scale transformations in finance IT

You have

 

•            Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with finance executives

•            Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially related to financial data and processes

•            Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in finance system development

•            Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CPA, CISA, PMP) are a plus
