What you will do

 

  • Perform IFRS17 & Solvency II valuation, reserve analysis of movement, actuarial assumptions setting impact studies
  • Explain gaps between Solvency II and IFRS17 movement analysis
  • Playing a pivotal role in the model development, documentation update and reporting
  • Pro-actively contribute to the on-going development of new IFRS17 process and automation initiatives
  • Using appropriate actuarial and statistical methods to assist in the production of reports as required by the Actuarial department
  • Provide timely, efficient and professional service delivery to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships externally with clients and internally with colleagues, providing support and insight on actuarial topics
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining data requirement sets/systems to ensure the delivery of accurate, relevant and timely management information, including actuarial software
  • Provide guidance to junior team members

 

 

You have

 

  • Master’s degree in Insurance, Finance,  Economics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
  • 3+ years experience in actuarial/risk management
  • MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Access and PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Programming experience is a plus
  • Python and VBA are a plus
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to study towards UK IFoA/TACT actuarial certification.
