Job role

The Account Manager establishes, shapes, and maintains effective day-to-day relationships with our customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction. In your role you will serve as the primary interface to the clients and handle IT and non-IT services in scope, also on a cross-customer or cross-functional perspective.

 

What you will do

  • Manage the relationship with customers as central point of contact, including pre- and post-sales support and you are responsible for the demand management of Allianz Technology products, services, or project packages.
  • Drive the translation of customer requirements into actions for the delivery of products and align the financial account plan and ensure revision and tracking of the account plan.
  • Facilitate issue resolution in projects & services and coordinate internal resources.
  • Support the invoicing, cash, and contractual topics, own the customers' profit and loss statement, and drive the monitoring of quantitative and qualitative delivery targets regarding progress, time and quality.
  • Quarterly Account Meeting with OEs C-level (preparation, leading, follow-up)
  • Run Net Promoter Score exercise (e.g. Selection of participants; meeting coordination; result consolidation; action tracking)
  • Monthly financial meeting (customer management level/dispute handling)
  • Issue & escalation management - Financial & contractual topics
  • Customer Intelligence & Events - Improve external communication towards customer.
  • Contract E2E negotiation
  • Tracking and closure of Overdue Receivables and controlling of monthly payments – interface to Debt Collection Team
  • Monthly approval for billing items
  • Ensure monthly Financial Reconciliation
  • Conduct annual revenue planning
  • Forecasting: Minimize risks in the Year End Steering with proper follow-up on charging status vs. Plan / request necessary accruals (OE/CFO)

 

What you bring

  • Relevant work experience in key account management, sales or other client-facing disciplines, experience in an international working environment would be desirable
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Digital skills and a good understanding of the IT industry
  • Proactive and independent hands-on working style
  • Ready to work in a team with passion for continuous improvement and use of agile methods

 

You have

  • Strong competence of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Moderation and presentation skills
