Data Architect maximizes the value of data/ information by developing and disseminating Data Architecture strategies, methodologies and tools to enhance the value of data along the value chain. Create and maintain logical data models and flowcharts indicating as-is data landscape. Develop a transformation roadmap towards target architecture.

Your Day at Allianz Ayudhya

• Develop a transformation roadmap indicating current, transition, and future state Data Architecture. Maintain the overview of the as-is data landscape and manage the roadmap and planning towards the target.
• Advise and co design end-to-end data solutions that meet the organization's data strategies, including, but not limited to, ELT by connecting to and/or consuming Azure and third-party services on a near real-time basis; qualified data catalogs / marts for business consumption in a timely manner.
• Define and implement data architecture framework and principles including data modeling. Partner with Data Governance to oversee data management topics such as ensuring the conceptual data model is translated properly to logical data model and that metadata are properly managed.
• Define and own data flows within Data Platform; collaborate with IT and Enterprise Architect for a completed view across the organization.
• Design/improve standard processes regarding data acquisition, storage and consumption.
• Participate in technical data requirement meetings, and able to answer technical questions related to cloud infrastructure used in Data Office.
• Work closely with ISO to ensure data security by design.

Must Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, IT or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in Solution architect, Data architect, Cloud architect, Data engineer, or DevOps Engineer
• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
• Experience in designing data models, data flow diagrams
• Experience in define and/or provision infrastructure-as-code
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Data modeling tools such as ER/Studio to visualize and design data architecture
• Understanding of data quality standards and data cleansing processes

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud computing (preferably Azure)
• Expertise in SQL and understanding of database structure principles
• Understanding of ETL or ELT processes using Azure Data Factory.
• Able to support fine tuning from platform perspectives as well as scaling using load balancer.
• Understanding of Cloud security, particularly in the areas of data management and protection.
• Understanding of digital transformation, data strategy as well as data analytic technology
• Experience in API management or event-based solutions on Azure is a big plus
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. GitHub, GitLab etc.), data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g. Airflow, Azkaban, Luigi, etc.)
• Experience with Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark etc.) or distributed databases and NoSQL databases like HBase, Elasticsearch, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB, Snowflake etc. can be a plus
• Understanding of insurance business and information technology is a plus
• Knowledge of network security, enterprise security, cloud security, database security
• Understand the system development life cycle, project management approaches, and requirements, design, and test techniques
