Product Owner Architecture (m/f/d)

About the Job 

As the Product Owner for System Architecture at Allianz Technology, your role is crucial in maximizing the value of the product resulting from the team's work. You are expected to possess sufficient technical skills to comprehend discussions among architecture team members and align with Allianz group architecture directives. Your responsibilities include creating and prioritizing the Product Backlog, defining the vision of assets, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps in accordance with the needs of partners. Additionally, you must have a deep understanding of customers,  the market, competition, and the ability to identify trends and opportunities within these areas.

What you do

• Manage the Product Backlog, including expressing Product Backlog items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and missions, representing the requests of the partners in the Product Backlog.
• Provide updates and create transparency towards the customer on what the Scrum Team will work on next.
• Ensure that product increments are delivered of high-quality and consider customer and partner feedback for product improvement.
• Coordinate with your Chapter Lead to follow the distinct architecture projects.
• Attend approval committees and global architecture meetings.
• Arbitrate architecture discussions.
• In some times you may require acting as project manager for architecture projects and other times as solutions architect creating architecture blueprints.

What you bring

• Relevant work experience in leadership, management, or other relevant areas.
• Experience in an international and Agile environment
• Critical thinking generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, and communication.
• Comprehensive expertise in at least one of the following specialties, along with sufficient knowledge of others to actively engage in discussions:
  • Software architecture: Current technological stack on Java, Spring, Angular and some Python for data analytics
  • Platform architecture: Current technological stack on Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar to cover ALM and EKS and JBoss as runtime platforms over Red Hat Linux Machines
  • Security architecture: Current technological stack OAuth, SAML and OIDC
• Team collaboration
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep analytical skills
• Influencing skills
• Excellent written and spoken English language.
• Nice to have:
  • Certificate in any cloud solutions architecture
  • Any security certificate or course
  • Togaf certificate
  • ITIL certificate
  • DevOps experience
