Job description:

As Financial Analyst you are part of the team responsible for all Planning & Controlling activities for the Western EU departments (United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg) and act as finance partner for local management. You will report to the Hub Head Western Europe.  

Responsibilities: 

• Support monthly closing, reporting, and analysis for concise, accurate financial data and value-added explanations, aiding management decisions.

• Contribute to local finance-driven forecasting, collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects, and monitor commercial and functional costs for profitability optimization.

• Contribute to special/global projects, business cases, or BU roles.

• Aid the transformation toward a function and Lines of Business-driven organization, shaping global processes from the local Finance perspective following the target operating model.

What you bring 

To excel in this role, you have the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or similar in business admin./ economics, accounting, or related subjects (e.g., applied mathematics) 

• 3+ years' experience working within finance with a demonstrated understanding of planning & controlling  

• Strong analytical skills

• Be comfortable to work in an international environment and a matrix setup 

• Excellent knowledge Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language (oral and written)
