Job Purpose/Role
We’re looking for a Senior Process Architect (m/f/d) at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) in Munich or London.

At AGCS, we have a hybrid working model, which recognizes the value in a balance between remote and office based working, giving you the flexibility to organize the way you work.

As the Corporate business unit of the Allianz Group, AGCS is aiming at building holistically constructed Master
Customer Journeys and Experience covering Customer, Product, Processes in collaboration with Product,
Distribution & Strategic Platform Architecture teams. The newly created ACM practice is tasked to deliver:

  • AGCS Master Processes as per ACM principles and leverage them in all strategic projects / investments to ensure maximum business benefits and alignment with customer requirements as per the Customer Journeys
  • Process flows and maps to harmonize end-to-end models across every Line of Business in collaboration with all relevant functions and assigned SMEs
  • As a Process Designer Senior reporting to the Head of Customer and Process Architecture at AGCS, you perform a strategic role for the ACM Master Processes, Process Optimization & Process Mapping team in AGCS COO area with accountability to work with Senior Stakeholders across all AGCS Functions and across regions
  • You will be working in ensuring that the proper mapping and documentation is in place and you will deliver process improvement and optimization in a timely manner
  • You will understand how process improvements are linked with automation and digital solutions and you will be in constant communication with SME and stakeholders
  • You will understand ACM strategy and what it means for the team. You are keen to lead less experienced team members


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate process mapping and documentation through proactive communication with internal customers
  • Ensure delivery of process improvements and optimization according to the service levels defined on the Master Customer Journeys for Corporate insurance
  • Provide customers and colleagues of the team with relevant, timely and correct documentation outlining performance of automated processes and provide solutions in case of insufficient delivery performance
  • Work in collaboration from other units, third parties, internal customers and Allianz Group to further map and improve processes within AGCS
  • Actively and constantly improve processes or contribute to the improvement of corporate process through the use of digital solutions e.g. building a new end-to-end platform and process re-engineering
  • Proactively identify new technologies, tools, and processes in documenting processes which could lead to medium or long term performance improvement


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree within IT or Business Administration; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Strong facilitation and workshop skills; ability to design and lead interactive workshops to playback findings and gain buy-in across the business
  • Ability to communicate and present across a variety of audiences
  • Experience in process mapping and optimization with evidence of handling multiple stakeholders, leveraging change management techniques, and proved business outcomes
  • Evidence of driving process optimizations leveraging the tools of Six Sigma / OPEX
  • In-depth knowledge systems, processes and date architecture, process re-engineering and automation
  • Cross-cultural and international work experience
  • OPEX Blue Belt and/or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • Fluency in English required
