Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Manage projects to define, refine and evolve strategies of multiple entities within Allianz according the Allianz Strategy process and supporting entities to develop one off strategies
  • Contribute to the implementation of key strategic initiatives cutting across insurance (Life and Health/ P&C) and Asset Management depending on project flows
  • Manage M&A projects for Allianz Business Divisions and Operating Entities including coordinating and steering the work of internal and external stakeholders, generating M&A data book, supporting the financial analysis leading to valuation, preparing presentations for management decision, supporting the post-merger integration and other closing activities
  • Complete assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager and/or Allianz client leadership, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
  • Provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management
  • Contribute actively to pitches, analyze and discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure development of team members via mentoring, and personal development


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in insurance strategy or M&A strategy development, management, and implementation
  • More than 5 years insurance business or consultancy experience
  • Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
  • Strategic and operational management experience
  • Presentation, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
  • Expertise in handling and analyzing financial data
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools is an advantage, e.g. Python, R, Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Experience in the entire life cycle of a project, with a focus on the conceptual and implementation phases
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
