Job Purpose/Role 

 

Are you interested in joining our adventure by becoming our new Executive Assistant (m/f/d) to Chief Finance Officer (CFO)?
In this role you will represent the interests of the Chief Finance Officer at AGCS and serve as a communication interface handling the in- and outgoing information of the Board Member’s office. Furthermore, you will also participate in specific projects where involvement of the Board Office is necessary. 

 

Responsibilities

 

In this role you will…

 

•    Independently and actively support the CFO 
•    Independently steer challenging projects for the CFO
•    Steer monthly Board meeting preparation and follow-ups, including pre-screening and challenging of Board meeting documents, preparation of the Finance contribution, and follow-up of action items 
•    Prepare and follow-up of meetings and events where the Board Member is involved, e.g. external events, worker’s council meeting, internal meetings with other Group Board Members and town halls, etc. 
•    Be the Interface between the CFO office and Group and drive CFO contributions to Group deliverables 
•    Steer and coordinate strategic projects, initiatives and workstreams and participate in content related as well as cultural topics as part of the NewAGCS transformation that require the attention or representation of the Board Member
•    Prepare, conceptualize and organize internal events such as the Finance Leadership meetings 
•    Manage and handle daily tasks for the Board Member, e.g. audit follow-up, cost center oversight, mid-/year-end review preparation, prepare decision templates and analyses etc. 
•    Steer communication from the CFO office to the wider Finance community


To be successful in the role:

 

You will have….

 

•    Excellent academic qualification (ideally Master)
•    At least 5-7 years of experience in areas such as business administration, project management, technical insurance (e.g. actuarial, risk management, underwriting), and/or consulting 
•    Positive and solution-oriented attitude in particular under challenging environment 
•    Ideally a familiarity with AGCS and our stakeholders to represent the CFO Office
•    Very good project management skills: initiating, planning and managing projects with regards to time, budget, quality, scope and resources
•    Proven experience in analyzing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions
•    Excellent communication skills to a variety of stakeholders including senior management; clearly and effectively expressing messages in various formats; able to convey messages visually effectively and quickly 
•    Excellent prioritization skills: Ability to filter information, effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines
•    Experience in working with intercultural teams in an international and dynamic environment
•    Fluent language skills in German and English as a must
