Who will you be joining? 

As part of the Accounting Hub of Allianz SE, the Closing & Reporting 3 team (based in Unterföhring) is responsible for the balance sheet accounting and preparation of financial statements for small- and medium-sized German Allianz service companies in accordance with local and international GAAP. Additionally, we oversee the centralized company pension scheme accounting and manage general cost provisions for over 20 Allianz entities.
You will work in an experienced team in which you will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills and independently explore new topics. As a fully-fledged member of our team, you'll be offered the chance to work on challenging projects, contribute your own ideas and actively help shape the future of our company.

 

How can you make an impact? 

  • Team support: Assist with a variety of tasks such as the preparation of dedicated training material and management presentations, research on accounting principles related questions or overarching ad Hoc activities 
  • Balance sheet accounting & Closing: Work closely with our team on the balance sheet accounting of over 15 German Allianz entities and support with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
  • Postings and payments: Take over the monthly postings for the company pension scheme within the SAP 4 Hana system, carry out closing entries and assist with account reconciliation activities
  • Process optimization: Contribute to designing efficient processes and the introducing new technical solutions to meet the legal requirements of IFRS and HGB with focus on digitalization, standardization and scalability
  • Special projects and innovation: Engage in exciting special projects, such as the implementation of AI-driven financial analysis tools and other innovative solutions 

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • You are studying economics, business administration, finance or a comparable course of study
  • You are confident with Microsoft Office365 (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams), you can prepare figures concisely and create meaningful presentations
  • You are a strong communicator in both German and English

 

Preferred Qualifications 

 

 

  • You are interested in accounting and have some theoretical knowledge of HGB and IFRS. 
  • You are motivated to make an impact and have a desire to learn new things 
  • You are an innovative thinker, enthusiastic about complex issues and approach them independently, analytically and in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Teamwork is your personal conviction. You approach your colleagues openly and enjoy personal contact
