Resilience is a company’s capacity to absorb stress, recover critical functionalities, and thrive in altered circumstances. It is especially important today because the business environment is becoming more dynamic and unpredictable, while we are facing various disruptions from extreme weather events, power outages, political turbulences to virus outbreaks. Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is a critical component of our Protection & Resilience efforts. The role will be hybrid, based at our head office in Munich.

How can you make an impact? 

  • Supporting day-to-day operations of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team within the
  • Group Protection & Resilience department.
  • Developing, testing and maintaining tools and templates supporting the implementation of the standards and policies in TPRM, Protection and Resilience.
  • Preparing communication and training materials for staff (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Administration of Intranet content (TPRM Connect page).
  • Administration of the Group TPRM mailbox (Outlook).
  • Data collection and analysis for management reporting.
  • Organizing events, dedicated Operating Entity (OE) meetings and virtual meetings.
  • Cooperating with different departments and international project teams.

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Currently enrolled in at least the third year of a Bachelor degree program (preferred) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, IT or similar.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. 
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with Office 365 is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and short time deadlines. 
  • Team player with strong analytical and intercultural skills.
  • You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for at least 12 months.
  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Previous work experience in an international oriented department is a plus.
