Role & Responsibilities

  • Create regular reports for existing clients, and potentially participate in face-to-face regular meetings with existing clients
  • Look after activities for institutional investors/distributors in all asset classes—major part of tasks may be alternative products related
  • Develop, review and improve various procedures in relation to client relationship
  • Handle challenging external and internal communications smoothly and appropriately
  • Work closely with team members on projects/tasks related to client services provision and keep up with, e.g. RFI, RFP, KYC letters, regulatory changes, new product launch, outstanding agreement monitoring, etc.
  • Participate in sales support such as agreement sign-off, new account opening, incentive programs and new product launch
  • Strengthen a collaborative partnership with colleagues in globe
  • Lead or support as a product specialist by acquiring and translating marketing materials from abroad and/or refreshing existing marketing tools


Experience / Knowledge Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or Quantitative Analysis preferred

  • Proven knowledge on all or some of asset classes—private asset, fixed income, equity and/or multi-asset

  • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in asset management or related fields; experience of institutional client service or client management related role are preferable

  • CFA, CMA, MBA or equivalent knowledge and skills

  • Proficient in Japanese with strong communication and interpersonal skills required; TOEIC 860+ or equivalent level of English preferred

  • Proven quantitative background and computer skill required


Additional Hiring Criteria

  • Independent correspondence and able to work under minimum supervision

  • Good team player, organized and efficient

  • Solid quantitative background and computer skill required

  • Knowledge of off-shore fund vehicle schemes, corporate analysis, and/or private assets will be more appreciated

  • Sales/client facing experience in the asset management company or other financial institutions will also be appreciated
