Position Summary

Application and Service Management

In this position you will lead and/or support the data/system migration workstream AllianzGI’s Fund Accounting system migration project. You will be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as building estimates, and scheduling meetings as needed, coordinating with different departments and support IT PM to ensure data migration and project millstones are completed on time.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

System/Data Migration

  • Support the data migration workstream of a system migration project

  • Coordinate with project management office and other workstream managers to drive the overall progress of the projects

  • Experience in dealing with high volume of data and design the data flow to optimize the performance

  • Work with in-house IT and target system vendor to drive the progress of migration

  • Identify gaps/risks (process, resourcing, timeline, and other aspects) on data migration and propose and implement mitigating options

  • Review source system data quality and drive data quality improvement

  • Oversee and ensure the building of intermediate database creation scripts

  • Carry out SIT/UAT on the migrated data

  • Monitor, review and evaluate post implementation adoption to ensure data is migrated, setup and handled appropriately

  • Work closely with IT PM, system vendor, and business users to migrate data from Fund Accounting legacy systems into target system

  • Coordinate across departments/projects to prevent delays or misunderstandings

  • Support other Implementation teams as and when required

 

System Integration

  • Lead practical integration work under the technical direction of the system /service designer

 

Vendor Management

  • Liaise with & handle service/software vendors on daily operations and keep up-to-date of any new functions/features potentially beneficial to the business

  • Work with onshore/offshore team & be the 1st/ 2nd line support on production issues tracking; responsible for status report and incident management, and act as a log keeper

 

Project Management

  • Take full responsibility for planning and execution of the project

  • Communicate among different teams, coordinate issue and deliver the best fit solutions. Monitor and control resources, timeline, budget and handle expectations of all project stakeholders

 

Risk Management

  • Investigate and report on hazards and potential risk events

 

Experience & knowledge & Skill

  • Bachelor degree or above in Business, Finance or IT related disciplines

  • 5+ years of working experience as business analyst analysis / consulting

  • 5+ years of solid SDLC, project management experience

  • Experience in handling SITE system migration project, preferably fund accounting system migration

  • Experience in running data migration in major projects

  • Knowledge/IT Experiences in SITE applications system, e.g. Jepun or Systemweb

  • Hands-on experience of ETL tools preferred

  • Experience in working with Microsoft Project Online preferred

  • English written and spoken is plus

  • Analytical, good communication, project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and calmly under stress

  • Can-do attitude, highly motivated and a good team player
