Job Purpose

The Senior Manager, Ops & IT Strategy, Productivity Lead, Asia Pacific, is responsible for the IT and OPS cost optimization initiatives. This role will involve in-depth analysis of the information available and quantitative/strategic thinking on productivity drivers. In addition you will help define the strategy and ensure delivery of the OPS and IT initiatives. The Regional  Ops & IT Strategy, Productivity Lead will also participate in the Strategic Dialogue and Planning Dialogue exercise of AZAP and its Operating Entities, enhancing the IT and Ops Economics & Productivity follow up.

 

What you do

You will be responsible for:

  • Cost optimization - IT Ecomine and OPS productivity initiatives
  • Develop a data and Analytics framework within the region  in order to keep control of cost and find opportunities for optimization - both OPS and IT
  • Development of AZAP OE Ops & IT Strategy
  • Responsible for the Change Management and measuring Transformation progress in Allianz Asia Pacific of the Ops & IT community, maturing the process
  • Working very closely with the Customer Experience and Ops Transformation team as well as Business Transformation team in defining & measuring programs key success factors

 

What you bring

  • A Good University Degree
  • 8 - 12 years of Business Management, Consulting area. with at least 5 years in the Business Management / Analytics / Change Management focus a plus
  • A good & deep experience in Insurance and/or Insurance Consulting with Data analytics experience preferred.
  • Insurance / Financial Institution prior experience strongly preferred
  • Good Communication skill
  • Strong Strategy story telling skill
  • Strong organisation skill
  • Strong in Change Management and Analysis
  • Strong Stakeholder Management (executive level) experience
  • Good knowledge on Project Management preferred
  • A Strong Team Player
  • Prior Regional / Global strategy/cost optimization experience a plus
  • CFA certified or equivalent a plus
  • IT/ Ops / Business Transformation experience preferred
  • Strong in MS Office suite - especially Excel & Powerpoint (PPT) skills
