Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of HR Data and Systems, and Rewards and Performance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HR systems and data topics while also leading the rewards and performance management processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive the usage of HR systems across various entities and improve data quality to support informed decision-making. He/she drives the topics with the expert communities in 10 countries and provides thought leadership and direction, together with 3 colleagues in the regional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR systems and data management,  a proven track record of driving system and data improvements within a large organization, and ideally also a good understanding of rewards and performance strategies.

 

What you do

There are three main focus areas.

 

HR Data and Systems:

  1. You will lead and drive the HR digital agenda for AZAP together with the entities with the aim to improve the usage of the various modules of our HR system Success Factors. This includes various modules (Data Core, Rewards and Performance, Learning, Talent and Recruiting). 
  2. You will further develop the HR data reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making by HR leadership and the wider management team, including the (further)development of our dashboards and reports to track HR metrics and key performance indicators.
  3. You are the key point of contact for our headquarter and the local entities on data topics, the utilization of the modules, new digital tools, and processes, and will drive global and regional initiatives in this field. 
  4. You will lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes streamlining and automation of HR processes through system enhancements.

 

Rewards and Performance - together with the Regional Senior Expert:

  1.  You will manage the organization's RP policies & guidelines to ensure consistency within the region. This is based on regular interaction with our headquarter and in alignment with global strategy and policies. Focus will be on the governance of all Allianz Senior Executive+ and CEO-1 positions in AZAP. This includes topics and processes relevant to the AZAP Compensation Committee.
  2. You will drive global and regional RP initiatives in the region and consult all AZAP OEs on RP strategy and topics.
  3. You will lead and run the Annual Performance Management cycle for the region from target setting to year-end calibration/review, and also the year-end merit increment and variable pay exercise, with a focus on SeniorExecutives and CEO-1 population. 
  4. You will ensure consistency in grading for all senior management positions and oversee the grading for the local entities. Furthermore you will oversee Benchmarking and Market Data sourcing activities to ensure a consistent pay and grading philosophy across the region. 

 

Stakeholder Collaboration and Team Management:

  1. You will consult and drive topics together with senior managers, local HR Heads and the expert communities as well as Global HR and other relevant functions like IT. This includes driving change management initiatives to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and HR system adoption throughout the organization.
  2. You will act as a subject matter expert in HR systems and data management, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams - together with the expert teams.
  3. You will lead and mentor a team of 3 skilled and motivated HR professionals responsible for rewards, performance, and HR data and systems. This includes fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.


What you bring

  1. Proven experience in a (senior) HR leadership role with a focus on HR systems and data management (ideally also rewards and performance).
  2. Strong understanding of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), other HR-related systems, data visualisation and analytics tools.
  3. Excellent project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to work with and engage various kinds of stakeholders, also on Board level.
  5. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, execution & problem-solving skills to succeed in a challenging & changing environment and matrix organization.  
  6. Ability to drive system and data improvements in a complex organizational environment.            
  7. Ideally good understanding of rewards and performance management principles, including compensation, benefits, benchmarking, and grading. (These topics are covered via two (senior) experts in the team who are responsible for the topics.)
  8. Experience working in a virtual team and developing strong working relationships within a CoE community.
  9. Excellent oral & written communication skills in English, additional regional languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa...) is a plus.
  10. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  11. 6+ years of combined expertise in HR systems and data topics, ideally including some experience in rewards and performance
